I've always been an overachiever. I earned my bachelor's degree in mathematics in 2023, graduating with honors, but that wasn't enough for me—I also minored in computer science and completed three academic certificates in Statistics, Data Analytics, and Computational Science. In 2022, I was selected as one of twelve participants in the NSA's Future Computing Summer Internship to work on a linear algebra–based research problem.
In the last two years, I have taught labs for an Intro to Computer Science course, and I have trained more than 350 university students to create professional reports in Microsoft Word. I have also previously tutored peers in precalculus, calculus, and probability. These days, I pursue my passion for higher education by working as an academic consultant for a university admissions business. I am improving college prospects for 130 students by suggesting spelling, grammar, and content revisions for their admissions essays.
I know that each student brings different strengths, and I firmly believe that any skill can be taught with patience and persistence. My most effective strategies are drilling, mnemonics, and practice problems. I believe that teaching the “why” in addition to the “how” is important in mathematics instruction.
Math is hard. Let me help you succeed.
