Hello!

Music has been an essential part of my life. I started playing the piano when I was 7 years old, and after graduating from Belarusian State Conservatory, I worked as a piano teacher and accompanist at a music school for 20 years. Since moving to America with my family, I have been teaching piano privately.

During the course of learning to play the piano, my students become responsible, focused, resilient, and confident, qualities essential to success in life. I provide a supportive environment and challenge my more ambitious students to play advanced music and take part in competitions. Some of my students became professional musicians and a some are winners of the Yamaha and Schmitt Piano Competitions. Regardless of their level, all of my students learn to appreciate and understand music.

My students learn different types of musical styles, starting from classics and up to contemporary and Jazz. They learn music theory (music grammar) and history (composers’ life stories and connections between music and other art forms during different historical periods,). I hold yearly piano recitals, which motivate my students to practice. Playing duets with me also provides great motivation.
