My name is Daniela, and I have 10 years of teaching experience in Denver Public Schools. I am currently a stay home mom for my infant and am looking to stay connected to teaching by tutoring in evenings.
I started tutoring when I was in high school and have always been interested in education. I obtained my teaching license through Teach For America in 2015 and taught upper elementary in a bilingual classroom (English and Spanish) until 2025. During my masters, I completed coursework in Culturally Linguistically Diverse Education. I also have my Early Literacy Science of Reading Certification. I have taught literacy, math, English Language development, Science, and Social Studies.
I'm excited to tutor where I will be able to set academic goals with you and get you to achieve your goals. The learning process is sticky and fun. I'm certain that with my support, you will be able to achieve the goals you set for yourself.
I am also confident in tutoring middle school and high school math.
I speak English and Spanish so will be able to support in the language that works best for you. I have taught ESL for the past 10 years to students of varying English abilities.
I am bilingual (English and Spanish) and started tutoring Spanish in high school. I also have developed curriculum for Spanish First Class, a company that teaches Spanish to elementary students.
Some fun things about me are that I love to create (paint and sew), run, read a good book, and make learning fun.
Please reach out to me. I look forward to working with you!
