I am a professional tutor who started in the field in 2019. Over those years, I have developed excellent technical and educational skills that have helped me teach a diverse range of students - young or old, experienced or new, job-seekers or longtime professionals. On top of that, I genuinely love teaching, and I want to see you improve and reach your learning goals. With years of experience in digital multimedia, I can teach you 3D modelling, drafting, design, rendering, lighting, texturing, automation and scripting, game development, sound design, audio and music production, and multimedia pipeline skills.
I started in 2019 in a private tutoring company with a focus on architectural drafting. There, I got to work with dozens of students, young and old, who came from a wide variety of interests and professional fields. As they progressed, I had the opportunity to work with some on professional design projects, including 3D multimedia presentations, lighting design, and residential and commercial building design. Later on, I was able to branch out into more elements of the computer graphics world: teaching advanced rendering, lighting, composition, and color science, as well as developing websites and creating workflows for high accuracy photogrammetry.
My tutoring approach is customized, and project based. I focus on introducing fundamental techniques, and then working those ideas into hands-on projects that are relevant to my students. I like to collaborate with my students and let them lead the general direction and set goals, while I provide structure through the syllabus and example projects. One of my main goals is teaching through principles; I want students to be able to transfer the knowledge they acquire to diverse use cases, not just copy something I taught them to do. If you like a collaborative, one-on-one learning environment with a focus on truly usable knowledge, I think we would be a good fit.
