Hello! I hope this description finds you well! I'm Sagar, I'm an undergraduate student studying CS and Mechanical Engineering. Before attending my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity, while in high school, to receive 6 Associate Degrees in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Arts, and Humanities. I have tutored college students in Math, Computer Science, and English (CRLA 1 Certified) for the past 3 years, and have now been working in industry (private and public sectors) for the past 3 years. I tutor anything from programming languages to Python and C++ to math subjects such as linear algebra and differential equations, and enjoy applied problem-solving areas like robotics, control systems, and autonomous systems. Beyond coursework, I’ve worked on independent and long-term projects—ranging from software development and game design to hardware-focused robotics builds. This allows me to explain not just how to solve problems, but why the solutions work and where they apply outside the classroom.
My tutoring approach is very simple: student-centered, patient, and highly adaptable. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into clear, intuitive steps and adjusting explanations until they truly click for each student individually since every person has a different learning style. I like encouraging questions, emphasizing conceptual understanding over memorization, and helping students build confidence by teaching them how to think through problems independently. I look forward to helping you to not only learn more about your subjects and prepare you for college, but also have fun in learning them! Happy learning!
