Hi, I'm Amit! I’m an award-winning educator with a Doctorate, Master’s, and Bachelor’s in Applied Math from highly renowned universities. I first started tutoring when I was only 11 years old. Already then, I felt how rewarding it could be to help a student improve in their studies, and after years of teaching, I've developed a deep passion for education. When I finished high school as class salutatorian, I began to dig deeper into mathematics, and became enamored with the field. I pursed a degree in Applied mathematics from UCLA, where I graduated after 3 years with magna cum laude honors.
Once I finished my bachelors, I knew that I wanted to learn more, and begin to teach in the classroom level. I attended Tel Aviv University for 4 years, where I received my master's degree and PhD in applied math. During my time as a graduate student, I received multiple awards for excellence in both mathematics research and education. I taught classrooms of up to 50 students as a teacher's assistant for multiple university level courses such as numerical analysis, differential equations, and complex analysis. I received consistent near-perfect teacher evaluation ratings, and was then given the opportunity to be the lecturer of a 300 student class for one semester.
Throughout my education, I have tutored privately and for tutoring companies, taught small scale office hours of 3-5 students in a university, and have given lectures to large classrooms of 50+ students. I am deeply committed to the success of all of my students, and am passionate about finding a way for you to succeed.
