Calculus

I earned very high As in Calculus 1 and Calculus 2. To reach these grades, I know many study strategies and helpful tricks. Over the years, I have been able to develop hundreds of derivative and integral flashcards, as well as five folders of notes for study materials in addition to finding many great practice worksheets.

Composition (Music)

My undergraduate degree was in Music Composition for FSU. At the time of earning the degree, FSU was ranked number 12 for US music schools (number 1 was Eastman, number 4 was Juilliard). I have extensive composing and performing experience for over 70 songs. In addition to digital music experience, I can help students with transcribing, ear-training skills, music theory, orchestration so that they can develop a versatile and efficient command of counterpoint and harmony.

Elementary (K-6th)

Hi, I am a credentialed 6th grade school teacher in a STEAM gifted/magnet program in Los Angeles, California. I started out tutoring English and math to 4th graders in 2013, and I have been teaching K-6th grade in private and public schools since 2016. In addition to being certified to teach electives in physics and electronics, I attend literacy and mathematics professional development regularly to enrich my teaching methodology. I can teach all the elementary subjects and make it fun for students. During my lessons, I regularly employ games, the use of white boards, adaptive learning programs, songs, whole body movement, the use of timers, and breaks.

Painting

As a lifelong learner, I taught myself to paint in my adulthood. I have a wall of over 30 paintings that many people admire. People have described my paintings as photorealistic with an impressionistic spin. I do not have an art-selling business only because I prefer to study and teach. However, I love to teach students about materials, value, light, sketching techniques, texture, composition, and much more.
