I have completed my undergraduate from University of Dhaka, my major being in applied mathematics. During my major I learnt a lot about mathematics, programming, statistics and modelling. I have always been fascinated by mathematics, which is why I had chosen this field of study. I had worked on numerous projects during my undergrad, but the most important of them is the work done on option pricing using numerical methods. I have also pursued education independently, using various MOOC and paid programs to gain experience with python, SQL etc, which I have later used for personal or work purposes.
I have tutored students for more than 5 years, both in person and remote. I have tutored various subjects, from business math, algebra, calculus, trigonometry, physics, computer programming, ordinary differential equations etc. My approach with each student is tailored to their method of learning. I focus on understanding concepts first, then I have my students apply those concepts to problems to solidify their grasp on it. This approach has helped most of my students, and I believe I will be able to help many others with this too.
Most of my students were teens, with some older adults (20-30 range) and some pre-teens. I have tutored in classroom, in-person at the students place, online and at open spaces (cafe, seminars). I am versatile with my environment and love to teach to a broader audience, of given the chance.
