The Human Calculator

It all started when I was 12 years old, when I overheard a documentary my dad was watching about Scott Flansburg, the "Human Calculator." He could do any math in his head faster than it took for a person to type the question into a calculator! After seeing that, I started to practice with my own calculator, gradually picking up tricks to simplify and solve everything faster and with perfect accuracy. Eventually, I crossed the threshold where math finally "clicked" for me - math went from just another subject in school to something I was passionate about.

Whether it's a deeper problem or just some quick help you need for something specific, I can not only provide it all, but also guarantee to impress you and make you laugh along the way. At the same time, I know what it's like to struggle; I've been there. That's why I can better understand anyone going through it themselves and know how to help them figure things out. I firmly believe anyone can learn what they put their mind to!

Starting a grade level ahead in math, I went on to test into an even level of math in high school, where I graduated having aced the AP Calculus BC exam and ranking in the 98th percentile on the SAT. Along the way, I earned my community service hours tutoring in all high school subjects at the local library. In my free time, I contributed to my high school math club and even participated in the 61st annual UCSD honors math competition. I went on to win first or second place in every math competition held at my college. While there, I climbed the ranks in the math honors society until I became the president, where I ended meetings teaching competition math like number theory, game theory, and advanced combinatorics.
