I am a four time Southern California ADDY Award Winning Artist, Illustrator & Graphic Designer. I currently work as a Graphic Design, Marketing Content & Visual Communications Project Management & Business Development Professional with more than 25+ years of experience in Advertising and Marketing Design, Environmental Graphic Design, Architectural Branding, Signage and Wayfinding, Art Direction and Creative Services Team Management.

I also work as an independent Staff Writer for multiple local community newspaper publications, writing on topics of community interest regarding local politics and government, community events and activities, local area sports and breaking news. I have considerable experience as a Marketing copywriter of SEO Content for Ecommerce B2B organizations, Marketing Articles, Press Releases, Blog Postings, and a wide variety of Product Descriptions for multiple industries.

I'm an avid youth soccer enthusiast with more than 30 years experience as a coach, referee, administrator and senior instructor for multiple youth soccer associations, including AYSO and USYSA, CalSouth.

I am a lifelong artist, with a professional background as a muralist and architectural graphics painter, working for more than 20 years in Facilities Design for one of the premier healthcare organizations in the nation. I retired from Facilities Design in 2002, returning to school in pursuit of my degree in Graphic Design. I graduated in 2004 from Platt College of Design at the top of my class, with Valedictorian honors and a 4.0 GPA. I incorporated my Graphic Design business, AJ Illustrating Graphics, in 2004 and have worked in a wide range of creative disciplines.
