I am a former math student with a passion for mathematics spanning many years, including 2 years worth of experience working for a company focusing on academic tutoring and preparing students for SAT/ACT/AP Testing and more. I served as testing coordinator from 2016-2018 and have a knowledge of the mathematics on each of the tests in detail. Everyone has different ways of learning, and I attempt to reach all through real world examples and connecting with students more to help them relate a foreign concept to more real applications and work through the processes required to solve many problems.

I worked as a standardized tutor for ACT, SAT, ISEE, & AP exams for ~2 years from 2016-2018, and have lots of experience both tutoring it and even writing practice problems for these tests to help out many students.

I am a Mathematics major, with extensive knowledge not just on certain algebra skills and theorems, but also with knowledge on why these skills can work. I have knowledge that will help you recognize a problem, and find the easiest ways to attack them. There will be many ways to solve most problems, and I will be able to give you tools that will definitely give you an edge over other students when you enter your course

I took Algebra 2 in high school in my freshman year, and have taken some advanced algebra in my undergraduate study, which gives me an edge since I can not only help you understand your theorems, but help develop your understanding of why algebra strategies will work.
Calculus

Took both Calculus AB and BC in high school, receiving a 5 out of 5 on my AP exams for both, and finished more advanced calculus in my undergraduate work as well. I still have all of my notes from my first days, and I can help learn some tricks I learned as well.
Geometry

I’ve tutored many subjects in mathematics and geometry is one that I have had quite a bit of success going over with students in the past. From lines to proofs to triangles and circle theorems, I have experience building up students knowledge from the basics up to more complicated theorems with regularity.

I have a great amount of experience tutoring academically for advanced Algebra topics and into Calculus as well. I can tailor my tutoring style to help any student as needed to improve their understanding of mathematics. As a math major I studied theorems to the point where I feel quite comfortable explaining them to students as well, so deeper understanding is something I will get you, not just feeling prepared for the next class and that’s all.
SAT Math

I served as a tutor for academic and test prep in Southern California for 2 years, and have a lot of experience with the subject matter which college board issues out to students year after year. The company I worked with has gotten many students into Ivy League schools with rigorous curriculum development and knowing the tests ourselves for years, so this knowledge has served me well, and I’d love to pass that knowledge on to students who seek help.

One of the best i've ever had

He may be young, but that doesn't mean he is any less of a tutor compared to those who are older. He tutors very well with knowledge and patience. In all honesty, he has been better than some of the tutors I have had in the past who were way older and had "more experienced." He's great and I highly recommend him.
