I graduated with bachelors in computer science and philosophy in 2024 at California State University-Fullerton (CSUF). During my time in college I was contributed a research project in Latin American Philosophy. In addition to my philosophical background, I have studied multiple programming languages like SQL, python, C++/C, swift, and javascipt, and HTML/CSS. I excelled and enjoy teaching a wide range of computer and mathematics subjects like algorithms, data structures, computer networks, calculus, and probability theory.

I help students build confidence in their logic, math, writing, or coding skills. I accommodate to students learning needs and I am always open to hearing student's feedback in order to adjust accordingly. I like to review core fundamentals by examples or analogies so that students can build better problem solving skills. I have all my students create a goal in mind to that we can better gauge their improvements or understanding.

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer science and Philosophy at the end of 2024. Afterwards, I began freelancing as a Full-Stack software developer using different technologies and programming languages. I have developed web apps, android/ios apps, and video games.

I have built web applications for many clients, ranging from a simple static portfolio to social networking platforms. In most of my projects, I focus heavily on an interactive and responsive interface. In other words, I use CSS daily to make websites stand out or more interactive.

I have studied data structures comprehensively in my undergraduate course. I spent a lot of time studying data structures and algorithms not only to pass courses, but to also apply them on my personal projects. I also do data structures and algorithms practices on leetcode in python, swift, and C.

I create IOS apps using different technologies like Flutter, React, and SwiftUI. Recently, due to the demand in native apps, I have been using a lot of Swift for developing IOS apps. I have made a photobooth, social media, recipe, and mobile game app in Swift. I also do exercises in Swift on leetcode.

I’ve had two sessions with so far and already feel much more confident in my computer science concepts. Karlos helped with an college Essay and technology assignment. He had lots of availability and flexibility. There were some technical issues with the first lesson and I was worried he was going to give up or not do the lesson when it was fixed because there was a tight deadline, but he did not. He got the issue fixed and then still met late to help with the assignment.
