I am an experienced educator and instructional leader with over a decade of experience supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school settings. I currently serve as an Assistant Principal, where I work closely with students to strengthen their reading, writing, language development, and academic confidence. Throughout my career, I have supported a wide range of learners, including English Learners, students needing academic intervention, and students preparing for high school and college readiness. I have extensive experience providing one-on-one support, small group instruction, and personalized academic coaching tailored to each student’s needs.

My tutoring approach focuses on building both skill and confidence. I believe students learn best when instruction is clear, supportive, and personalized, so I use structured strategies, guided practice, and targeted feedback to help students truly understand the material rather than memorize it. I specialize in helping students improve writing, reading comprehension, Spanish language development, and overall academic organization. I also support students with homework help, test preparation, and foundational skill building, always adjusting my approach based on the student’s learning style and goals.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students while maintaining high expectations for growth. I prioritize creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and building independence. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to help them become confident, capable learners who feel proud of their progress.
