I have a strong academic foundation in accounting, mathematics, and computer science, supported by my experience as an instructor for CPSC 120L at the university level. Through this role, I worked closely with students learning programming fundamentals, helping them understand Java and C++ concepts through hands-on examples, guided debugging, and step-by-step explanations. This experience allowed me to teach students with different learning styles and skill levels, from complete beginners to more advanced learners working on projects.
In addition to teaching in a lab setting, I have also helped students one-on-one, both in programming and in accounting coursework. I focus on breaking down difficult ideas into simple, understandable pieces and giving students practical ways to apply what they learn. Whether it’s explaining object-oriented programming, walking through problem-solving approaches, or reviewing accounting principles, I aim to make every session clear, structured, and encouraging.
My goal as a tutor is to build confidence and help students genuinely understand the material—not just memorize it. I enjoy teaching because I know how challenging these subjects can be, and I take pride in seeing students improve through patient guidance and real-world examples. I look forward to supporting learners of all ages and helping them succeed in Java, C++, math, and accounting.
