I've been a recording professional for 40 years in Canada and The USA. I've received 2 Gold Records for my efforts. I've been fortunate to work at most of the music studios in Los Angeles as well as those in Toronto and New York. I have seen big technological changes in the tools of the trade and I needed to adapt to the changing methods. I stay on top of the technology and I recently upgraded my own home Mix room.
Although I have a Professional Mix/Record setup at home with Pro Tools. I am not adverse to teaching at the students own home and setup. We could arrange a combination of lessons in both locations since I will have some gear that might not be available at their home studio and vice versa. I am also familiar with Digital Performer by MOTU, but I don't have that installed at my home studio.
