I hold a Master’s degree and have over fifteen years of experience working in Japanese companies and supporting international students. In 2020, I began teaching Japanese through weekly language exchange sessions, which sparked my interest in becoming a professionally trained teacher. After moving to the United States in 2023, I completed formal Japanese teacher training and began offering beginner-level lessons in 2025.
I use textbooks, original slides, and carefully selected materials to provide structured yet enjoyable lessons that help students connect with real-life Japanese. My lessons are ideal for learners who want guidance from a professionally trained tutor, who are interested in Japanese culture, who prefer clear explanations in English when needed, and who appreciate a relaxed environment where they can try, make mistakes, ask questions freely, and learn at their own pace.
