Film

With 20 years of experience in the film and television industry, I bring a comprehensive and holistic approach to teaching filmmaking. My journey began humbly as a props intern on the set of the Kevin Bacon movie "Death Sentence," where I started by assembling directors' chairs and quickly learned the ropes of the production world. From there, I worked my way up through various roles—assistant, writer’s assistant, writer, and eventually writer-producer—gaining invaluable experience across multiple departments. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work in production, set design, art direction, post-production, and editing. This diverse background has given me a well-rounded perspective on the filmmaking process, allowing me to understand and teach the intricate details that go into creating a successful film or TV show. My experience spans the entire production pipeline, from pre-production planning to final edits, giving me the insight to guide students through every stage of their projects. As a tutor, I aim to share this wealth of knowledge with aspiring filmmakers. My teaching approach is hands-on and practical, designed to help students not only understand the theory behind filmmaking but also how to apply it in real-world scenarios. Whether you're interested in screenwriting, production design, or post-production, I’m here to help you develop the skills and confidence needed to excel in the industry. My goal is to mentor the next generation of filmmakers by providing them with the tools and insights that come from years of on-set experience and behind-the-scenes expertise.
