Hello! My esteemed career started with my professional acting debut in Academy Award-winner Steven Spielberg’s film “The Uninvited” and also in the Academy Award-qualifying film “High End Dying”. Some of my accolades include the honour of receiving the “Einstein” actor award: Also known as The Talent Greencard reserved for the top 1% of extraordinary actors Worldwide. I have also received the UBCP/ACTRA’s Best Actor and Top Young Emerging Actor selections in their national showcase twice in a row. I also won a Silver Medal in The Academy Award-accredited World Monologue Games out of 3000 actors from 85 countries, and The Joey Award for Best Monologue, which is Canada and Europe’s most prestigious award for young actors.

My acting teaching experience includes the lead instructor at New York's Ferrell Studio as well as a guest instructor at Spotlight Academy. I have specific methods for coaching any ages and am good with any experience level. I've even helped students workshop auditions for theatre schools! I'm a graduate of the prestigious 3 year conservatory acting program at Studio 58 as well as being a top candidate for Juilliard. My approach to performance is of great depth and uses a diverse range of tools that goes above and beyond the fundamentals. With a focus on truth, I allow my approach to be fluid, yet tailored to the specific material.

I have a deep understanding of many acting techniques beyond the average actor or instructor. Exercises like the Observed Character, Rudolf Laban’s 8 Efforts, Precious Object, Elemental Energies, Larry Moss scene improvisations, The Character Hot Seat, Sense Memory, The Three Circles of Presence, Dreamwork and many more including Meisner.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to book a coaching session with me! I look forward to working with you!

Daniel Bristol’s uniquely esteemed career started with his professional acting debut in Academy Award-winner Steven Spielberg’s film “The Uninvited” as Samuel Wright with Academy Award-nominee David Strathairn and in CIFF’s Academy Award-qualifying film “High End Dying”. His many accolades includes the prestigious honour of receiving the “Einstein” actor award: Also known as The Talent Greencard reserved for the top 1% of extraordinary actors Worldwide, UBCP/ACTRA’s Best Actor and Top Young Emerging Actor selections in their national showcase twice in a row, a Silver Medal in The Academy Award-accredited World Monologue Games out of 3000 actors from 85 countries, and Canada and Europe’s most prestigious award for young actors: The Joey Award for Best Monologue. Having trained for 3-years at the prestigious Studio 58 conservatory as an actor under the direction of Hall of Famer Kathryn Shaw, which only selects 16 actors internationally, and with the Casting Director for the 3-time Academy Award-winning film “The Revenant” Michelle Allen, Daniel’s ability has allowed him to work at the highest level in the Acting Industry spanning top projects in film as well as theatre, which has included nationally renowned projects like Miracle Theatre’s The Bird’s and the Bees that raised $100,000 for Charity and iMPACT’s Incognito Mode. His approach to the work is of great depth and uses a diverse range of tools that goes above and beyond the fundamentals: for example, his immense respect and love of Sandra Seacat’s “The Way”. With a focus on truth, Daniel allows his approach to the work to be fluid, tailored to the specific material, and at its highest potential believes it can be used as a means of profound healing in the individual and collective psyches.
