My experience is rooted both in academia and in Hollywood as a film/TV composer for the past 18 years. I began as a pianist, earning a Bachelor of Music with an emphasis in Keyboard (Piano/Organ) Performance and Pedagogy from Brigham Young University. I then shifted my focus to music composition and theory as a graduate student at BYU where I received a Master of Music degree. From there I was accepted into the doctoral program at UCLA where I'm "all but dissertation" on a PhD in music...

I've written scores for films (both narrative and documentary), television series, commercials and games. Several of my tracks are placed in music libraries. I've also managed a small boutique publishing company of choral music where I did music engraving and score editing, reviewed publication submissions, processed licensing agreements, and prepared contracts.
