Hi! I’m Aysan, a Biology graduate, children’s book author, and experienced tutor with several years of helping students master General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biology, and academic writing. I began tutoring in college, supporting students one-on-one and in small groups through challenging coursework. Since then, I’ve continued working with high school and college students, guiding them in science, strengthening their study skills, and helping them build real confidence in subjects that often feel overwhelming.
My tutoring approach is patient, structured, and focused on breaking down complex ideas into clear, logical steps. I’ve worked with students who have a wide range of learning styles, and I always adjust my teaching to fit what works best for them. Whether we’re working through reaction mechanisms, cell biology, or exam preparation, I concentrate on helping students understand the “why” behind the material, using real-world examples and guided practice to make the concepts stick.
Alongside science tutoring, I also support pre-health and college applicants with personal statement development, interview preparation, and communication skills. My experience as a children’s book author as well as my leadership role in a healthcare education program has strengthened my ability to teach, mentor, and coach students in both academic and professional environments.
