Bio

My name is Amber and during the school year I normally teach 4th grade and have been doing so for 4 years. I have previously taught 5th grade for 1 year and k-2nd grade intervention for 1 year in a variety of different settings. I completed my B.A. in Psychology at UC Riverside and I currently hold a multiple subject teaching credential from Cal State LA.

I have taught in a variety of different settings and in each, I have found the way in which my students learn best. I am a strong believer and advocate that each student can learn, they just need someone to take the time to learn about them and their learning style. I want to be that person for my students.

I have taught both in person and online via zoom, newrow, Google classroom and engageli and find ways to capture the interest of my students in each setting.

Great First Lesson with Amber!

We just had our first lesson with Amber, and she was amazing! She came well prepared and connected with the kids right away. The lesson was fun, structured, and very productive — my boys stayed focused and really enjoyed learning with her. Amber is patient, professional, and has a wonderful way of explaining things clearly. We’re so glad to have found her and can’t wait for the next lesson! :)
