I recently started tutoring formally, but I have many years of tutoring experience with my children and as a volunteer. My approach to science and math tutoring is to use real world examples that students already understand to help illustrate concepts. Before learning something new, I always want to make sure that the underlying key concepts are understood so that my students have a solid foundation to learn more advanced topics.
In addition to STEM topics, I have a Masters in Business Administration and many years of experience as a product manager for technology products. I love to teach people how to build models for business case analysis and forecasting.
