Hello! I am a student at UC Berkeley offering tutoring services in my speciality, English. I attained an Associate Arts for Transfer in English, and am currently majoring in Rhetoric.
I instruct students of all levels, from elementary to college. I have been tutoring for three years, and was a Senior Tutor at Diablo Valley College’s Academic Support Center and Social Sciences Center. I teach students tools such as critical analysis and structural formatting, to give them skills that will follow them their entire academic journey. Many of my students have been extremely satisfied with the improvement in their scores, grades, and overall reading/writing ability.
I scored in the top 2-4% nationwide on the English portion of the SAT (740/800). I can elucidate to students the methods of deduction I used to attain this score.
Additionally, I work with med students on the English section of the MCAT. To date, I have not missed a single question, and have achieved a perfect score on the practice tests for this portion of the MCAT.
