My name is Jennifer, and I have been a tutor for over 10 years now. My most requested subjects include the MCAT, AP Physics C/1/2, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, and AP Calculus AB. Currently, I tutor students in math and science classes including AP/SAT Chemistry, AP/SAT Physics (I/II/C) , AP Calculus AB, SAT Math II, AP Statistics, Algebra I/II, and Geometry. Most of my students see significant improvements in their grades and usually score a 4 or 5 on their AP tests.

My name is Jennifer, and I have been a tutor for over 10 years now. My most requested subjects include the MCAT, AP Physics C/1/2, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, and AP Calculus AB. Currently, I tutor students in math and science classes including AP/SAT Chemistry, AP/SAT Physics (I/II/C) , AP Calculus AB, SAT Math II, AP Statistics, Algebra I/II, and Geometry. As a former MCAT instructor, I have a solid understanding of not only the science concepts (Biology, Biochemistry, Physics, Chemistry, Sociology, and Psychology) needed to succeed on the test but also the test-taking strategies needed as well. Understanding what it takes to be accepted into medical school, I have significant experience helping students as both a mentor and teacher as they tackle the MCAT and apply to medical school.

My main goal during my teaching sessions is very simple. I teach students until they are able to understand and communicate the concepts and apply them without any outside help so they may be able to critically think through and then confidently tackle even the hardest of problems. Throughout my sessions, I constantly do my best to keep my students focused and motivated, providing extra practice. I help my students succeed not only in the classroom but also as individuals by helping them develop confidence and a strong work ethic. Additionally, the majority of my past students have significantly raised their school grades (+10-20%), scored the highest on exams in their classes, received a score of a 4 or 5 on their AP tests (even Physics!) and have gained admission to top universities such as UCLA, UC Berkeley, USC, Stanford, and Ivy league schools.

Knowledgeable in AP Physics

Jennifer worked with my daughter on AP Physics. She prepared lessons to preview concepts, and this helped my daughter build confidence with new material. She also worked through corrections on class assignments to ensure that my daughter understood the materials. While the content is very challenging and my daughter didn't always immediately understand it, she said that Jennifer's approach to explaining the content helped her gain an understanding over the course of a session.
