Hi students and families! My name is Keith, and I am a High School English teacher. My specialty is in Reading and Writing, as well as preparation for the AP Language and Composition exam. I am currently in my 7th year teaching and I hold several degrees pertaining to my field. I have a Bachelor’s and Masters in English, as well as a California teaching credential in English. I have taught all high school grades and have taught AP Language and Composition specifically for 5 years. I’m looking forward to working with you as you further your education!

In the high school classroom, one of the key instructional practices I have found to be effective is to give individualized feedback as much as possible. While it can be challenging to give individual feedback for a classroom of 30+ students, I make it a priority to give that feedback for those who want or need it. This is one of the reasons why I am excited about tutoring. It brings me so much joy to sit with a student, work through their essay, and see their writing and confidence improve.
