Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile!
My name is Katherine, and I am a Master’s degree-prepared medical professional with more than 10 years of clinical experience and over 5 years of experience teaching and mentoring medical and nursing students. Throughout my career, I have worked with students at different levels of training, helping them build confidence, strengthen their understanding of challenging concepts, and achieve their academic goals. I understand that subjects in healthcare and science can feel overwhelming, and I enjoy helping students break complex topics into manageable, easy-to-understand concepts.
I provide tutoring in medicine, nursing, NCLEX preparation, anatomy and physiology, biology, medical terminology, pharmacology, nutrition, and other health science subjects. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and interactive. Rather than focusing only on memorization, I help students understand the reasoning behind concepts so they can apply their knowledge in exams, clinical settings, and future coursework. I use practice questions, real-world examples, and individualized study strategies to improve comprehension, retention, and critical-thinking skills.
Whether you are preparing for an important exam, struggling with a specific course, returning to school after time away, or working toward a healthcare career, I am committed to helping you succeed. Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to your learning style, strengths, and areas for improvement. My goal is not only to help you improve your grades and test performance but also to help you develop the confidence and skills needed for long-term success. I look forward to supporting you on your educational journey.
