I still enjoy teaching and working with students! I truly believe all students can learn and excel in mathematics, this beautiful discipline that I love! I like to determine where students may have gaps in their knowledge base and help them master those missing pieces as they work on their new material. I like to break concepts down into manageable chunks and use analogies or even silly stories to help make them stick. I believe a sense of humor helps when we are working our brains so hard! I also have experience teaching math study skills with a cognitive science lens. I consistently receive very positive student evaluations and have earned several teaching awards at my institution. I look forward to helping all students master and even enjoy mathematics!
