I am a professional acting teacher and coach with over 26 years of experience mentoring performers of all levels. I began acting at age eight and trained classically under legendary acting teacher and director Gerald Freedman and other distinguished mentors at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where I earned a BFA in Acting and Drama. My professional acting career spans Broadway (including Mary Zimmerman’s Tony Award–winning Metamorphoses), Off-Broadway, film, television, commercials, print, and voiceovers. I have personally taught and coached, shaping the careers of both emerging and award-winning artists, with influence extending to blockbuster films, acclaimed TV series, Broadway and West End productions, and internationally recognized theatre companies.

I employ a holistic, multi-method approach integrating techniques from Stanislavski, Adler, Hagen, Strasberg, Meisner, Chekhov, and Alexander. I help actors build a personalized toolbox to explore instinct, impulse, and the given circumstances, delivering fully realized, truthful performances. My teaching covers scene study, text analysis, character breakdown and development, voice and speech, audition and self-tape preparation, green screen, artist life coaching, business for actors, directing, playwriting, public speaking, and mask work (neutral, character, and half-mask). I teach in one-on-one and ensemble settings, both online and in-person, for students of all ages and levels. I also lead the Master Class at MC² Actors Studio in Los Angeles, New York, and London, and have received extensive five-star reviews from industry professionals across multiple social and professional platforms and publications.

As a director, playwright, and founder of MC² Actors Studio and MC² Repertory Theatre Company, I focus on nurturing confidence, authenticity, risk-taking, and artistic excellence. My mission is to empower actors to unlock their full potential, refine their craft, and bring depth, truth, and emotional resonance to every performance.

I specialize in scene study, text analysis, character development, audition and self-tape preparation, voice and speech, and holistic actor training using techniques from Stanislavski, Adler, Hagen, Strasberg, Meisner, Chekhov, and Alexander. Creative Writing

I am a professional creative writing coach, playwright, and director with over two decades of experience developing original theatrical work. My coaching focuses on playwriting, character development, dialogue, structure, adaptation, and storytelling rooted in action, intention, and lived experience. Drawing from my background as an actor and director, I help writers create vivid, embodied characters and compelling narratives that translate powerfully from page to stage and screen.

Public Speaking

I am a public speaking coach with over 26 years of experience as an acting teacher, helping individuals who struggle with public speaking find confidence, clarity, and authentic connection. My work is especially effective for those who feel anxious, blocked, or disconnected when speaking in front of others, as I focus on reducing fear rather than “performing.” Drawing from actor training, I guide speakers to use breath, voice, intention, and behavior to communicate naturally, with relaxation, and with purpose. I work with professionals, creatives, and students of all levels to help them speak with ease, impact, and integrity-without feeling scripted or forced.
