Hi, I’m Sage! I'm a UC Berkeley Philosophy graduate with an official 177 LSAT score and several years of tutoring experience. My approach to LSAT prep is centered around understanding the way you think. Instead of lecturing or pushing a one-size-fits-all system, I take the time to notice your patterns and what actually helps concepts click for you.
I’ve worked with a wide range of students — from high-schoolers and community college transfers to working professionals and students from both low-income and upper-middle-class backgrounds. Before tutoring full-time, I spent two years as a contracted academic tutor with Berkeley High School, and I also worked as a case manager/counselor, which taught me a lot about motivational interviewing, active listening, and helping people stay grounded during stressful situations.
I can help you make Logical Reasoning feel more intuitive, approach Reading Comprehension in a way that feels predictable instead of overwhelming, and identify the points you might be losing in places you haven’t noticed yet. I also work with you to build a study plan that fits your attention style, schedule, and long-term goals, while helping you grow your confidence and consistency so you feel steady on test day.
My goal isn’t just to teach you the test, it’s to help you understand your own thought process so you can improve efficiently and sustainably. I'm here to be a partner in your LSAT journey, not just an instructor.
