My name is Garrett Gallego, I am an LA based actor and performer. I am currently in my final year at the California Institute of the Arts where I am working to receive my BFA. I spent 4 years training at the North Hollywood Actors Studio under Jeff Alan Lee and Andrew Shaffer where I was exposed to the methods of Meisner, Strasberg, and Stanislavsky. Through the CalArts Acting program, I have been schooled in movement, speech, and voice work. I am also experienced with Shakespeare having taken part in 2 competitions and being a semi finalist both times. Last summer, I had the wonderful opportunity to make my off broadway debut with a play that I went on a national tour with. I am not going to say that I know everything, I believe that we are all perpetual students, but I can share with you my experiences and a few things that I have picked up along the way of my journey so far in the hope that it might help you.
I spent three years at the North Hollywood Actors studio where I was trained in Meisner, Strasberg, and Stanislavsky. I then auditioned for and was accepted into the Acting program at the California Institute of the Arts where I have spent the past four years honing my skills and learning new information not only about my craft but about the industry.
