I am a retired emeritus professor from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. My 49 year career included advising and mentoring of medical students and undergraduates and many high school students. I also taught undergraduates. At the medical school I was Assistant Dean of Student Affairs for many years. I wrote many educational grants primarily targeting students from under served communities. My primary interest now is to use my experience to help students ages 17-25+ in preparing their personal statement essays in pursuit of their career aspirations. I am also an artist who has illustrated text books and other learning materials. As an artist, I have exhibited many times and my art career continues. I greatly enjoy working with young people to help them move ahead with their goals.
