Welcome! My name is Cheyenne, and I’m an 18-year-old tutor who enjoys helping middle and high school students, as well as supporting select college-level subjects, in my free time. I’m currently pursuing an Associate of Science for Transfer in Biology, with the goal of continuing my undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley.
I have two years of tutoring experience through my high school, Griffin Technology Academy, where I graduated with highest honors as Salutatorian, earning a 4.3 GPA and over 60 college credits. I’ve also supported many of my peers in STEM courses, as well as English and History at both the high school and college levels, working in one-on-one and small group settings.
As a tutor, I focus on strengthening the skills students already have while identifying and filling in foundational knowledge gaps. From there, we build toward applying new concepts and improving memory retention through repetition and practice. While improving grades and test scores is important, my main goal is to help students become more confident and comfortable with the material—because confidence often changes how students approach and solve challenging problems.
I’m available for online or in-person tutoring (with a preference for online for safety and convenience) during weekday evenings. If you have special scheduling requests or questions, feel free to reach out. I look forward to working together!
