Iris helped my teen son prepare for an AP Euro essay. She immediately made him feel comfortable. She was able to not only guide him through the College Board expectations of essay writing, but give him the confidence and motivation to succeed in the assignment. She's an experienced teacher who brings positive energy to the session, and authentically is interested in her students' success.

My 15-year-old daughter had three weeks to prepare for the AP World History test. Iris quickly identified weak areas and tailored the sessions to reinforce them. Iris has impeccable qualifications and excellent work ethics. She's friendly and knows how to communicate with kids. But the material is only half the experience; she can be a wonderful mentor and role model to teenage girls.

My daughter has struggled transitioning to the rigor of AP coursework as a freshman. She continued to prepare and study for tests and the materials overall like she did in middle school. Simply stated, her approach was not working. Iris broke down the material so that it was easier for her to understand, highlighted overarching themes and context, and provided her with a roadmap to connect the dots so that she could excel at both the essays and short answer tests. Her overall course grade has improved, and she has received 90’s on all quizzes and tests after meeting with Iris. Iris is personable, super nice and my daughter enjoys working with her. Highly recommend!
