My experience teaching students in the education field started after my graduation in 2015 from the University of California Davis. Since graduating, I have worked in the public school system as a SPED Paraprofessional, assisting students not only with academics, but also with developing effective problem-solving solutions and behavior-management skills. I have worked with students in a variety of grades ranging from kindergarten to high school. I currently work at an elementary school as a paraprofessional.

My love of writing has contributed toward my desire to help students of all academic ranges find their own love for the written word. I strive to help each student exceed their own expectations in reading comprehension and essay writing. My expertise in writing comes from my extensive study of British Literature, as well as my personal journey writing my first novel.

The lasting effect of successfully learning to read and write develops everlasting and wholesome effects on a student’s future, contributing to their personal happiness and success in life. The world needs people who can write, whether that be officers writing police reports on the day-to-day job, bankers filling out checks and receipts, or lawyers and notaries filling out legal documents. I can assure you that the students I teach will learn the most efficient writing techniques which will allow them approach any writing assignment they encounter with confidence.
