Professional Writer, Author, and College Instructor

I am an Associate Adjunct Online Professor at the University of Maryland University College (UMUC), and have taught courses in Advanced Business Communication at the University of Southern California (USC). In addition, I am completing the draft of my first book on providing college-level instruction to military learners. I also presented at the "2012 Global Education Conference," and the corresponding text was submitted to former Education Under-Secretary, Martha Kanter.

I am a peer editor for the Journal of Business and Technical Communication, (JBTC), and a fee-based editor for Stanford University’s Hume Writing Center. I have taught at California State University, Fullerton, and reported for The Los Angeles Business Journal, and for Government Technology e-zine. I earned my bachelor’s degree at Antioch University, and master’s degree from California State University, Northridge. Several of my poems are in publication

I like it when students challenge themselves, and I see evidence of their success in their writing efforts. I also try to be sensitive to the skills and learning aptitudes of each student.
