I am a credentialed California teacher and a doctoral student in Organizational Leadership with over a decade of experience teaching and tutoring students from elementary school through college. My academic background includes a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, an MBA, and years of advanced study focused on how students learn best. This combination allows me to support young learners who are building foundational math skills as well as college students working through business math, accounting concepts, or quantitative coursework.

Throughout my career, I have taught in both classroom and one-on-one settings, working with students as young as kindergarten and as advanced as adult learners returning to school. I currently teach business courses at a rural community college, and I have previously taught and tutored math, general education subjects, and study skills for grades K–12. I focus on making math approachable by breaking down concepts into clear steps, using real-world examples, and building student confidence through patient, supportive instruction.

My approach is personalized, structured, and encouraging. I take time to understand each student’s learning style, strengths, and challenges so I can tailor lessons to their needs. Whether a student is struggling with basic math facts, preparing for pre-algebra, or trying to master business math for college success, I provide practical strategies, clear explanations, and consistent guidance to help them meet their goals. My goal is to help every learner feel capable, confident, and prepared.
