Hi, I'm Amy, a USC graduate, currently enrolled in grad school at University of Southern California for Marriage and Family Therapy. Overall, I’m a patient and creative tutor looking to help you with all things in crafting, editing, writing, and reading.

I scored in the 99% on the Writing and Language section of the SAT and 175 on the LSAT exam. At USC, I was an international relations and philosophy major. As a tutor, I have been teaching for 5 years, working with a range of kids (ages 6-14) at the city community center to grad students on personal statements.

My main thing is to helping students write and polish their admission essays. The admissions process can be daunting, and having been through it myself, I know that it takes careful reflection and concise writing to reflect who you are. As a creative writer, I know that the admissions cares about one thing - and that is getting to know who you are, and that means showing up as yourself genuinely (on paper). That’s where I can help! I want to help you craft your story in an effective way to get you into your top school. I have worked with students in a similar boat as me, in applying to psychology graduate schools as well those applying to law school, med school, and graduate programs in physical therapy, nursing, teaching, and librarianship.
