I am a UCI honors graduate in mathematics with a minor in computer science. I started tutoring as a favor for a friend and have found that tutoring is one of the most rewarding experiences I can have. Many of my students have gone from D's with no understanding to A's with the ability to peer tutor their classmates. It is always wonderful to enter a student's home and hear "I got an A on the test!" or "the teacher says I am her most improved student."

Excellent masterful tutor!
Billie truly knows the subject very well and shared with us a lot of insights from her work in teaching Precalculus. Once I explained what my 12th grader was struggling with, Billie immediately pointed out a couple of areas common to students that really made sense to me and ways to address them. Before the first session, unlike any other tutors we had used, she proactively reached out and worked out a teaching plan together with us to make sure it would really benefit my kid. Honestly I was surprised and touched. Billie's kind, patient and very knowledgeable. Two sessions over, my kid felt much more comfortable with the subject and she even felt like it's easy now. I will highly recommend Billie to anyone who needs help with math.

Great Tutor
Billie helped my son review some Geometry concepts that he had missed in class. She was very patient and was able to explain the steps. He walked away feeling comfortable that he understood the material. I would definitely recommend her as a math tutor.
