My experience producing film has been consistent over the last few years while filling roles as a Director, Editor, and Cinematographer for a variety of video styles. As a Director, I researched, conducted pre-interviews for each subject, and scouted shooting locations during the pre-production phase of each project; During the production phase, I conducted interviews and produced follow-up questions for non-actors to supplement possible shortcoming of answers and help push a narrative. As an Editor, I logged footage, met with directors, color corrected, enhanced audio, and arranged footage into a timeline to create compelling stories. As a primary shooter, I captured essential B Roll footage to push the narrative, set up lighting for interviews, set up a multiple camera system for interviews, and set up audio (lavalier, boom mic, and room tone).
My experience in motion graphics mainly consists of lower thirds, titles, and credits. Beyond the staples of basic typography in motion graphics, I have also produced 3D graphics and animated projection maps for proof of concept videos while at Simantel Group. Additionally, rotoscoping in After Effects to achieve sought after color and exposure of a scene has been a technique I have implemented in my edits.
