I studied Psychology and Social Behavior with an emphasis in Education at University of California, Irvine. I went on to become a secondary English and Language Arts teacher focusing on decoding literature and crafting compelling essays. I also taught students with learning differences in the Special Education department. I’m trained in Applied Behavior Analysis which is used for behavior modification and executive functioning.
Beyond the classroom, I’ve had training in public speaking as a Toastmasters International member and won awards at the local level. While this is my training and experience, my skills and areas of expertise are eclectic and include Armenian, Farsi, CBEST test preparation, study skills and time management.
