I especially love reading, language, writing, and history. I love helping kids discover their ability to succeed in a subject that they are lacking confidence in. I find that even after writing just one paper they can be proud of, or getting a good grade one one test they thought they couldn't pass, the confidence level is so much higher. I have the patience, tools and experience to help improve study habits and language and writing skills and would love to share those.
As a kid who was diagnosed with ADHD I feel like the most important thing for me was learning study habits. I figured out what worked best for me, but I have also learned other techniques from the educators I work with and I know that what works best varies with every child.
