I am currently an M2 at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where I am working toward my MD degree. Prior to medical school, I earned a BS in Human Biology with a minor in Healthcare Studies from the University of Southern California, where I was recognized as a Presidential Scholar.

My passion for teaching began long before medical school. I co-founded Med-ucate, a health equity initiative, in 2018 where I developed and delivered interactive medical curricula across special needs organizations, after-school programs, and global NGOs, reaching students across more than 150 schools and centers worldwide. More recently, I serve as a Teaching Assistant and Curriculum Developer for the Mini Medical School program at Chicago Medical School. These experiences have shaped a teaching style that prioritizes accessibility, real-world clinical context, and meeting students where they are conceptually.

Having completed my M1 year — which included Scientific Foundations of Medicine, Clinical Anatomy, Clinical Foundations of Medicine, Infection-Immunology-Hematology, Cardiovascular-Pulmonary-Renal, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, and Clinical Epidemiology, among others — I am well-positioned to tutor students preparing for USMLE Step 1, and I welcome the opportunity to use tutoring as a means of reinforcing my own mastery of this high-yield material. I am equally happy to work with undergraduate pre-med students on MCAT preparation, science coursework, and study strategy, including building and optimizing Anki decks for spaced repetition. Whether the goal is board prep or getting through a challenging semester, I tailor every session to the individual student's needs and learning style.

Approved Subjects

Biology

Biology

I have studied Biology continuously for 7+ years. My foundation began with Honors Biology and AP Biology in high school, followed by extensive pre-med coursework at USC including cell biology, genetics, physiology, and molecular biology. I am currently an MD candidate at Chicago Medical School where I study biochemistry and biological sciences at the medical level. I also serve as a Teaching Assistant and Curriculum Developer for my university's Mini Medical School program, where I design and deliver biology-based medical education.
Essay Writing

Essay Writing

Writing has always been central to how I think and communicate — I am a Substack author, and my personal statement was featured in the USC admissions newsletter upon my acceptance, which speaks to the kind of writing that actually moves people. I went on to apply successfully to medical school, so I understand what strong application essays look like at both the undergraduate and graduate level. With 8 years of tutoring experience, I help students find their genuine voice rather than write what they think admissions committees want to hear. Whether you are working on a class essay, a college application, or just trying to become a stronger writer overall, I focus on structure, clarity, and making your specific story land.
Interview Prep

Interview Prep

Successfully navigating interviews at both the undergraduate and medical school level gives me firsthand insight into what admissions committees are actually looking for in a candidate. As a second-year medical student at Chicago Medical School and a USC graduate, I have been through highly competitive interview processes and know how to help students present themselves with clarity and confidence. I also have 8 years of tutoring and mentorship experience, including running student panels and community outreach programs, so I am comfortable helping students work through nerves, sharpen their answers, and tell their story in a way that feels natural rather than rehearsed. Whether you are preparing for college, pre-med, or medical school interviews, I can help you walk in ready.
MCAT

MCAT

As a current second-year medical student, I have successfully navigated the MCAT and understand exactly what it takes to score competitively. I specialize in helping pre-med students build effective study systems using tools like Anki and spaced repetition techniques to maximize long-term retention. I also provide guidance on working through UWorld question banks, breaking down high-yield concepts, and developing test-taking strategies. Whether you are just starting your MCAT prep or need a final push before test day, I can help you study smarter and feel confident going in.
Personal Statements

Personal Statements

I navigated both the undergraduate and medical school application processes successfully — my personal statement was featured in the USC admissions newsletter, and my writing was a meaningful part of gaining admission to Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. I am also a Substack author, so writing is something I do consistently and intentionally, not just academically. I know what makes a personal statement stand out because I have lived the process at a competitive level on both ends. I help students move past generic drafts and write something that is specific, honest, and genuinely compelling to admissions readers.
Pharmacology

Pharmacology

I am a second-year medical student at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where pharmacology is taught in an integrated, systems-based format — meaning I understand how drugs work not in isolation but in the context of real patient presentations across cardiovascular, renal, infectious disease, and GI systems. This is exactly the clinical framing that nursing students and Step 1 preppers need to answer application-based questions confidently. I focus on mechanisms over memorization — once you understand why a drug works, side effects, contraindications, and interactions follow logically rather than requiring separate cramming. Whether you are working through a nursing pharm course or tackling First Aid for Step 1, I can help you build a framework that actually sticks.
USMLE

USMLE

I am a second-year medical student at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where I recently completed coursework in Clinical Anatomy, Scientific Foundations of Medicine, Cardiovascular-Pulmonary-Renal systems, Infection-Immunology-Hematology, and Gastroenterology, all of which form the core of USMLE Step 1 content. My approach to Step 1 prep focuses on building genuine conceptual understanding rather than surface-level memorization, so that high-yield material connects across systems the way it does on the exam. I also help students build and optimize Anki decks and develop a study schedule that works alongside their coursework. Tutoring Step 1 material keeps my own knowledge sharp, which means I am actively engaged with this content — not teaching from memory of a course I took years ago.
