I am a California based medical school graduate currently preparing to begin residency training. My academic background includes extensive coursework in biology, physiology, pathology, and clinical medicine, as well as successful completion of USMLE medical licensing examinations. Throughout medical school I spent years learning how to understand complex material efficiently, and I now help students do the same rather than relying on memorization alone.
I work with high school, college, and pre-medical students in subjects such as general biology, human physiology, anatomy, and MCAT biology/biochemistry preparation. I have also helped students review study strategies, organize large amounts of information, and prepare for difficult exams. My approach is to simplify topics into understandable concepts, diagrams, and clinical examples. Many students struggle because science courses feel overwhelming; I focus on showing how ideas connect so the material actually makes sense and becomes easier to remember.
My tutoring sessions are interactive and tailored to each student. We review problem areas together, develop a structured study plan, and practice applying knowledge to test-style questions. I am patient and comfortable teaching beginners who need a strong foundation as well as motivated students aiming for top scores. My goal is not only to help students improve grades, but to build confidence and independent study skills they can use throughout their education.
