Saint Bonaventure University (Computer Science)
I love teaching. It's always my delight to see someone through a hurdle, and I will go through great pains to see one succeed in his goal. As long as a student has a desire to learn, I believe it is the teacher's responsibility to impart knowledge to him or her.
As far as I can recall, I have had tremendous success teaching both science and art. In fact, I don't see much difference between both fields. My structured science education as well as professional work experience and my love for the arts places me in a unique position to effectively communicate almost any subject. I can reach technical and non technical people and help them broaden their education as well as learning skill.
I blend structure with creativity. I usually set the road map for a student, however I will alter it where necessary to suite him. I continually evaluate progress as well as obtain feedback from my students so as to achieve the learning objective. I can be counted on to give a sincere assessment of a situation and prescribe the reachable goals that people are looking for.
I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a minor concentration in Management Information Systems from Saint Bonaventure University New York. On my graduation, I was awarded a Computer Science medal for scholastic accomplishment. I worked as an Higher Education Equal Opportunity student tutor during my student days.

Uchenna really knows his stuff. He helps you think like an engineer. It's clear that he has a broad and deep experience in this field. He has a way of explaining concepts that you just get it. His calm yet passionate demeanor cause any intimidation of the subject to melt away. Concepts I had been struggling with for weeks suddenly seemed to become crystal clear. He is humble and patient but yet direct.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I offer almost 20 years of C programming experience. C++ is a superset of C. I am approved for C++. Besides, I have previously tutored students in C. I currently have a C++ student and I am starting him off with C.
