Bio

In 2019, I graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Economics. My experience with the SAT goes back to middle school, where I scored an 800 on the SAT Math section at the age of 13, which has led me to start teaching my peers on standardized testing. Fast forward to today, I tutor students across SAT prep, English, writing, and college counseling with a nearly a decade of consistent teaching experience.

I specialize in three core areas:

SAT MATH & ENGLISH (READING + WRITING)
I work with students across the full SAT, with a strong track record of improving scores by 100–200 points. My English students have gone from scores as low as 550 to 730 in as few as 10 sessions. I tailor my approach to each student's learning style, with particular experience working with non-native English speakers. My approach emphasizes deep mastery of core concepts alongside targeted test-taking strategies because most score gains come not just from knowing the material, but from eliminating careless errors and learning how to think through high-pressure problems efficiently.

GENERAL ENGLISH & WRITING
Beyond test prep, I work with students on academic writing, reading comprehension, and developing a strong written voice. This includes essay writing, literary analysis, and building the kind of articulate thinking that serves students well beyond any single exam.

COLLEGE COUNSELING
Having gone through the Ivy League admissions process myself at Princeton, I offer guidance on college strategy, application positioning, and essay development, helping students present their most compelling and authentic selves to admissions committees.

I have worked with students from a wide range of backgrounds and and love developing a rapport with my students while holding them to a high standard. I believe that each student possesses a distinct learning style, and I strive to meet them where they are by adopting a teaching strategy that is tailored to the individual.
