My goal is to transform the student’s relationship with literacy by helping them develop a growth mindset and a positive connection with reading. My lessons are safe, interactive spaces where I use engaging methods and a strengths-based approach to build the confidence and motivation they need to finally thrive.
Having raised children who learn differently and spent five years homeschooling, I deeply understand the challenges parents face and offer knowledgeable, compassionate support.
While I now specialize in reading disorders, I have spent 25 years working with students across the neurodivergent spectrum, including those with ADHD and learning disabilities. This background ensures I am well-prepared to support kids with multiple diagnoses and gives me a clear perspective on how they learn best.
I serve students in Torrance and the South Bay of Los Angeles as well as online.
