I am a neuroscience-focused pre-med student with a strong background in biology and chemistry, as well as hands-on clinical and research experience. I have worked in both wet lab and clinical research settings, including at Boston Children’s Hospital, where I supported studies focused on child development and autism spectrum disorder. Through my academic training and research work, I have developed a deep understanding of core STEM subjects and how to explain complex concepts in a clear and approachable way.
In addition to my academic background, I have extensive experience working directly with children and adolescents. I have worked one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum as a behavioral assistant and have also taught as a swim instructor for children with diverse learning needs. These experiences have shaped my tutoring approach to be patient, structured, and highly individualized. I am especially comfortable supporting students who benefit from additional guidance, including those with learning differences or attention challenges.
My teaching style focuses on breaking down difficult material into manageable steps, reinforcing understanding through practice, and building confidence over time. I aim not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop strong study habits and problem-solving skills that will serve them long-term. I have experience working with middle school, high school, and early college students in subjects including biology, chemistry, and general study skills.
