I am a recent graduate of UCLA, where I earned a 3.94 GPA and distinction awards in both Chemistry and Biology for earning straight A’s and demonstrating leadership in the classroom. I bring years of tutoring experience at the community college and university level, where I’ve guided students through challenging STEM courses, including biology, chemistry, psychology, and physics.

Outside of higher education, I also tutor elementary through high school students weekly at my church, helping younger learners build a strong foundation in reading, writing, math, and science. My experiences have taught me how to adapt my teaching style to different age groups and learning styles, whether simplifying concepts for beginners or diving deep into advanced topics.

In addition to academic tutoring, I specialize in mentoring pre-medical students. As an incoming medical student myself, I provide guidance on the entire application process, from creating timelines to reviewing personal statements, activity sections, and secondary essays.

My teaching philosophy is centered on clarity, patience, and encouragement. I focus on helping students truly understand material, develop critical thinking skills, and gain the confidence they need to succeed, not just in exams, but in their long-term academic journeys.
