As a dedicated and experienced tutor, I am passionate about helping students build confidence and truly master challenging material. I recently graduated from UCLA as a premed Psychology student and served as a Learning Assistant for the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department, where I supported over 100 students in General Chemistry and Biochemistry courses. Through this role, I gained extensive experience guiding students through complex STEM concepts in a structured, collaborative, supportive academic setting.

Over the past three years, I have worked with students ranging from elementary school to college level. I began by helping younger students strengthen foundational skills in math, reading, and writing, and later expanded to tutoring middle school, high school, and college students in subjects such as Algebra, Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Genetics, and Psychology. At UCLA, I also organized and led collaborative study groups, developed detailed study guides, and created practice questions to help peers succeed in rigorous science courses.

My teaching style focuses on the individual student. I take time to understand how each person learns best and adjust my approach to fit their needs. I break down difficult topics into clear, manageable steps and keep sessions interactive so students stay engaged and comfortable asking questions. I focus on building strong critical thinking skills and teaching study strategies that support long-term learning and real understanding. This allows students to become more confident, perform better on exams, and carry that success into future courses. I strive to make even the most intimidating subjects feel approachable and empowering!
