Experienced Math Tutor for Middle School to College Calculus

Hello, and thank you for reading this! My name is Aira and I was a high school math teacher teaching Algebra 1 and Precalculus. I have taught online, hybrid, and in-person classes, so any type of setting is welcome. I also have experience tutoring students from middle school math to college Calculus as well as GED math.

I understand that many students wonder how math is even useful in their future. I thought the same! I was not fortunate to have any teachers who really took the time to teach me the reason for learning math until I was in college. So, if you want to know why, let me show you how you can use it in real life!

I have 7 years of experience with tutoring/teaching and am confident teaching PreAlgebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, College Calculus (Business Calculus also), and GED math. I taught online classes, so I have many online resources as well. Many of my past tutoring students have told me that I am patient, friendly, quick to respond, and have good explanations of math concepts.

And just as a side note, I was really bad at math when I was younger. But here I am, loving teaching math! Even though math could be challenging, I love working on it and teaching it to students because of the "aha!" moment with the lightbulb on top of their heads lighting up.
